See What I’ve Built and Fixed.
Across Rural Missouri

At C. Taylor Contracting, LLC, I fix the problems most crews leave behind - so you can finally relax, knowing your land drains right, your septic holds tight, and your worries are gone for good.

Real Projects. Real Results.

I don’t just talk about getting it done — I prove it. Here’s a look at some of the recent jobs I’ve completed for rural homeowners and landowners across mid-Missouri.

Case Study #1 – Warrenton, MO

Challenge:
The customer’s lagoon was poorly built and completely overgrown, making it hard to maintain and function properly. Runoff water from surrounding land also threatened to contaminate it.

Solution:
We cleared out the overgrowth, removed cattails and tree saplings, and regraded the lagoon to the proper working depth. We also cut in a diversion ditch to keep runoff water from entering the lagoon, which can damage the system and harm surrounding land.

Result:
The lagoon is now clean, properly shaped, and easy to maintain. With correct grading and no more runoff intrusion, it can function the way it’s supposed to for years to come.

Case Study #2 – Rhineland, MO

Challenge:
The customer was tired of fighting weed and grass overgrowth along the water’s edge.

Solution:
We removed the topsoil and vegetation, shaped and cleaned the bank, installed road mat fabric to suppress future growth, and lined the area with 6–8″ clean rock. We then compacted the rock in place with the excavator.

Result:
The shoreline now stays clean and low-maintenance, with no more weeds or overgrowth. It also keeps unwanted animals from burrowing around the water’s edge.

Case Study #3 – Rhineland, MO

Challenge:
The customer had to drive through their muddy yard to get to the shed, tearing up grass and getting stuck in wet conditions.

Solution:
We stripped off the topsoil, laid down a weed barrier mat, and spread 2″ base rock to build a durable access path.

Result:
Now they can reach the shed anytime without driving through mud or damaging their yard. It’s solid, clean, and works in any weather.

Case Study #4 – Warrenton, MO

Challenge:
The hillside on the customer’s property was too steep to maintain and was wasting usable space.

Solution:
We built a retaining wall to reduce the slope and create a clean, level area that’s easier to mow and maintain.

Result:
The property is now easier to care for and looks better too. The retaining wall added both function and curb appeal.

Case Study #5 – New Florence, MO

Challenge:
The customer wanted a new hot tub but didn’t have a good spot to place it.

Solution:
We turned an unused section of the yard into a functional space by building a retaining wall and pouring a stamped concrete pad.

Result:
They now have a beautiful, solid base for their hot tub. No more wasted space, and the new area adds to the look and function of the yard.

Case Study #6 – Beaufort, MO

Challenge:
The customer’s driveway kept washing out during heavy rain, making it rough and hard to use.

Solution:
We reshaped the road, crowned it for proper drainage, and spread the right type of rock to compact it into a solid, long-lasting drive.

Result:
The new driveway sheds water like it should and holds up to weather and traffic without washing out.

Case Study #7 – New Florence, MO

Challenge:
The customer was walking through grass and mud to reach the front door of their home.

Solution:
We dug and formed a new sidewalk to the correct depth and had it professionally poured.

Result:
They now have a clean, durable sidewalk leading to the front door — no more muddy shoes or walking through the lawn.

Case Study #8 – Sullivan, MO

Challenge:
The customer needed a better way to turn around in their driveway and wanted to add a circle drive.

Solution:
We cut out the area for the new drive and laid down a solid base of 2″ rock to build a clean, functional loop.

Result:
They can now turn around easily, and the circle drive adds convenience and a sharp look to the front of the property.

Case Study #9 – Sullivan, MO

Challenge:
The customer was tired of looking at a rough, rocky yard full of clay and patches.

Solution:
We re-graded the entire yard to make it flat and smooth, spread nutrient-rich topsoil, and installed fresh sod for instant curb appeal.

Result:
In less than a week, the yard went from rocky and uneven to thick, green, and lush. The homeowner now has a yard they’re proud to look at every day.
